- • Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and non-technical products and solutions directly to current and new end customers in the wire and cable industry, primarily targeting key accounts and OEMs based in Indonesia.
- • Informs customers of new product introductions, pricing updates, and service offerings to drive adoption and retention.
- • Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a robust and sustainable sales opportunity pipeline.
- • Develops strategic program guidelines and rules of engagement with key accounts to align with the Ascend Nordson Growth strategy and drive profitable revenue growth.
- • Identifies and engages key decision-makers within all assigned key accounts and OEMs to build long-term business relationships.
- • Manages capital project solutions from initial identification through to installation, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Nordson capabilities.
- • Prepares and presents detailed proposals and project justifications to secure buy-in and close deals.
- • Executes the Key Account Growth strategy in collaboration with the Growth & Strategy Leader, supporting designated initiatives through field visits, technical demonstrations, and plant-level discussions.
- • Schedules and facilitates quarterly business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align on future goals.
- • Coordinates regular travel to customer plants as needed, organizing logistics for Nordson personnel to conduct on-site support and training.
- • Trains customer personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and service of Nordson equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- • Develops third-party references by following up with existing customers to gather testimonials and success stories.
- • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of Nordson products, pricing, policies, and procedures, including which products are most advantageous for specific finishing and container applications.
- • Monitors competitor activities and reports insights to supervisors to inform strategic adjustments and market positioning.
- • Provides emergency customer service support to resolve urgent issues and maintain trust and reliability.
- • Assists in the training and onboarding of other employees as assigned.
- • Prepares and submits administrative and technical reports promptly as directed by management.
- • Maintains detailed and accurate customer files, ensuring all interactions, agreements, and follow-ups are properly documented.
- • Maintains professional appearance, test equipment, and company vehicles in accordance with company standards.
- • Travels 50%–75% of the time to customer sites across Indonesia and other designated regions.
- • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives and team goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years’ successful experience in sales, preferably in wire and cable key account management
- • Bachelor’s Degree or 2–3 years of capital equipment experience preferred
- • Demonstrated sales skills and ability to manage complex B2B accounts
- • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint presentations
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to make professional presentations to large groups of people
