- • As an Account Manager at CommandLink Inc., you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize the IT industry by empowering corporations to consolidate their core infrastructure and leverage our proprietary single pane of glass platform. You will own and nurture a dedicated portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers, serving as their primary commercial advocate and trusted advisor throughout their entire journey with us. - • Your primary responsibility will be to proactively engage with our valued mid-market and enterprise clients. This engagement will be characterized by consistent, strategic communication, the delivery of impactful Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and the development of sophisticated, consultative account plans tailored to each client's unique objectives. The ultimate goal is to maximize the value our customers derive from CommandLink's solutions while simultaneously expanding their investment with us through strategic upgrades, cross-selling complementary services, and ensuring seamless renewals. By achieving these objectives, you will directly contribute to CommandLink's robust revenue growth and play a crucial role in maintaining our industry-leading, exceptionally low churn rate.
- • You will operate as a key collaborator, working hand-in-hand with our Sales Directors, leveraging the expertise of our engineering resources, and aligning with sales leadership. This collaborative approach will be essential for identifying emerging opportunities, effectively executing expansion strategies, and consistently delivering a best-in-class customer experience that sets CommandLink apart.
- • Key responsibilities include taking full ownership of a defined portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, with direct accountability for achieving and exceeding targets related to customer retention, revenue expansion, and overall account profitability. You will be instrumental in building and nurturing robust, trust-based relationships across all levels of customer organizations, including critical executive stakeholders.
- • You will lead the charge in conducting regular QBRs and MBRs, ensuring alignment on key performance indicators, discussing future roadmap initiatives, and collaboratively identifying new growth opportunities that benefit both the customer and CommandLink. A significant part of your role will involve proactively identifying and driving upsell, cross-sell, and upgrade opportunities, working in close partnership with Sales Directors and various internal teams to ensure a cohesive and effective strategy.
- • Developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans will be paramount. These plans must be meticulously crafted to support each customer's strategic objectives while simultaneously aligning with and advancing CommandLink's ambitious revenue goals. Maintaining a cadence of proactive, value-added communication is essential to stay ahead of evolving customer technology initiatives and to consistently position CommandLink as an indispensable, long-term strategic partner.
- • You will be responsible for meticulously managing our CRM system, quoting tools, sales automation platforms, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards. This ensures the accuracy of our sales pipeline and provides clear visibility into performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- • You will serve as the primary escalation point for any commercial issues that may arise, ensuring swift and effective resolution while maintaining clear, transparent communication with all involved parties.
- • Contributing positively to CommandLink's vibrant company culture is also a key aspect of this role. This includes actively supporting cross-functional initiatives designed to continuously enhance the overall customer experience and advocating for our customers internally.
- • Finally, you will be expected to readily take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the collective success of the team and the organization as a whole. 🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in account management, customer success, or a role focused on customer lifecycle revenue ownership, specifically within the telecom, cloud communications, networking, security, or managed services sectors.
- • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue retention, upsell, and expansion quotas in previous roles.
- • Experience managing the full spectrum of customer lifecycles, including initial deployment, installation, contract renewals, and subsequent expansion phases.
- • Strong executive presence with demonstrated experience in leading presentations, conducting QBRs/MBRs, and engaging in customer-facing strategic discussions.
- • Prior experience selling or supporting solutions such as Cloud Communications (UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, Teams), SD-WAN, Security, Network Internet Services, Managed Services, or related software solutions.
- • High level of proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Excel, and other essential business productivity tools.
- • Confident negotiation skills coupled with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to client interactions.
- • Self-motivated, highly organized, and adept at managing proactive outreach and developing a robust sales pipeline.
- • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure while consistently exceeding revenue and retention targets.
