  • • The Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for fleet customers, building and maintaining strong relationships while driving new business from existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities to maximize revenue and profit.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing appointments, ensuring timely delivery of repair services, creating monthly reports, communicating progress to stakeholders, forecasting account metrics, preparing account status reports, and assisting with client issue escalations.
  • • AutoNation, Inc. is one of the largest automotive retailers in the U.S., operating a nationwide network of dealerships that provides new and used vehicles, financing, parts, and expert maintenance and repair services, with a strong commitment to community impact through its DRV PNK initiative supporting cancer research.
  • • The Account Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development Managers, Service Advisors, Fleet Technicians, delivery teams, service writers, dispatchers, mechanics, and customer service to enhance the overall customer experience and develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and executive sponsors.
  • • In this role, the individual will gain experience in strategic account planning, revenue forecasting, cross-functional collaboration, and consultative selling within the automotive and fleet services industry, while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on innovation, teamwork, and social impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of account management experience with a B2B emphasis
  • • 3+ years of customer-facing experience in a high-tech or automotive environment
  • • Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • • Experience working with Salesforce and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word
  • • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
