- • As an Account Manager for Commercial Lines at One80 Intermediaries, you will be the primary point of contact for managing the daily client service needs for a dedicated book of business. This pivotal role operates under the guidance of a Producer or Account Executive who leads service, placement, and business development efforts. Your day-to-day will involve extensive utilization of system tools and consistent, professional communication with clients via email and phone, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- • A core responsibility is to meticulously adhere to all corporate procedures, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the highest level of data integrity within our system of record. This ensures accuracy and reliability in all client-related information and transactions.
- • You will serve as an integral part of the client service team, providing essential guidance and oversight to any third-party vendors who may be managing specific aspects of the client accounts. Your expertise will ensure these vendors operate in alignment with our standards and client expectations.
- • In collaboration with the Producer or Account Executive, you will actively participate in renewal strategy discussions. This includes contributing to the selection of appropriate markets to approach, conducting thorough claims reviews, and gathering detailed exposure information to inform the renewal process.
- • You will manage a renewal book of business, taking ownership of the creation of submissions, supporting the placement process, and assisting with proposals and binding activities. Your efforts will be crucial in securing favorable terms for our clients.
- • Support will be provided in drafting essential documents such as exposure gathering information, loss exhibits, submissions, and proposals, ensuring all materials are comprehensive and accurate.
- • You will be responsible for obtaining loss run reports or policy documentation directly from carrier websites as needed, streamlining the information gathering process.
- • As the primary recipient of daily client inquiries or changes, whether directly from the client or forwarded by the Producer/Account Executive, you will manage day-to-day client service with professionalism and efficiency.
- • You will work closely with an Associate Account Manager or a third-party vendor to issue certificates, process invoices, and perform policy/endorsement/audit checking. This includes submitting and managing policy changes with carriers based on client requests.
- • Maintaining the system of record with up-to-date information reflecting all conversations, communications, and policy documentation is a critical function. You will also be responsible for processing monthly, quarterly, or annual audits and monthly reports as they are received.
- • Handling contract reviews that are not complex in nature will also fall within your purview, ensuring all contractual obligations are understood and managed.
- • In claims management, you will instruct clients on the proper procedure for reporting a notice of loss directly to the carrier. For ongoing large claims, you will provide essential claims reporting and support, acting as a liaison between the client and the carrier.
- • You will be responsible for setting up policies within the system of record to accurately reflect all pertinent billing information. This includes managing requests for invoices on agency bill policies in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- • Proactive communication with clients and Producers is essential, particularly when addressing aged Accounts Receivable (A/R) issues. You will generate requests for fund returns to clients as appropriate and respond promptly to accounting inquiries regarding carrier discrepancies, cash applications, and other financial matters.
- • Cultivating strong relationships with carriers and wholesalers is key to aligning our agency with ideal markets for renewals. You will play a role in implementing the “Fewer & Stronger” market consolidation initiative, leveraging our buying power to secure the best terms and conditions for our clients.
- • You are expected to actively engage in corporate initiatives relevant to your role, contributing to a culture of accountability and collaboration where high performance is recognized and celebrated.
- • Participate in new business activities as requested and actively support corporate retention goals, demonstrating a commitment to the growth and success of the company.
- • Adhere strictly to procedures for maintaining documentation to mitigate Errors & Omissions (E&O) risks. You will also participate in any corrective actions identified during local compliance audits and engage in stretch assignments to further your career development.
- • This role requires adaptability in a fast-paced work environment, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure under pressure to meet deadlines and performance expectations. Extended periods of computer work, including typing and mouse use, and regular phone communication are essential components of this position.
