Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and grow a multi-million-euro book of business across the DACH region, acting as the single point of accountability for Fortune 1000 manufacturers and high-growth engineering teams who rely on Xometry’s digital marketplace to turn CAD files into finished parts at speed and scale.
- • Build and execute quarterly account plans that map each customer’s product roadmap, capacity constraints, and cost-reduction targets to Xometry’s expanding portfolio of CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, 3-D printing, injection moulding, and finishing services.
- • Run weekly pipeline reviews in Salesforce, translating MQLs into SQLs and ultimately into POs worth €50k–€500k per order; forecast revenue within 5 % accuracy and flag supply-chain risks before they hit the customer’s critical path.
- • Orchestrate virtual and on-site technical workshops with application engineers, quality managers, and procurement VPs to prove out DfM savings, lead-time compression, and risk mitigation that turn one-off prototypes into long-term production contracts.
- • Negotiate multi-year framework agreements that lock in volume rebates, capacity reservations, and SLA penalties while protecting Xometry’s gross-margin targets and supplier utilisation rates.
- • Serve as the voice of the DACH customer back to Xometry’s product, pricing, and supply-chain teams, feeding real-time insights on tolerance standards (DIN vs. ISO), packaging norms (VCI film, reusable crates), and compliance requirements (REACH, RoHS, CE) that shape roadmap priorities.
- • Champion adoption of Xometry’s instant-quoting API inside customer ERP and PLM systems, reducing RFQ turnaround from days to minutes and embedding Xometry as the default “make” button inside their digital thread.
- • Mentor junior account executives and SDRs on consultative selling, value-based negotiation, and cultural nuances of selling to German Mittelstand, Swiss med-tech, and Austrian automotive suppliers.
- • Host quarterly business reviews (QBRs) in German and English that showcase KPI dashboards—on-time delivery, first-pass yield, cost avoidance—and convert satisfied users into enthusiastic advocates who expand usage across divisions and geographies.
- • Travel up to 30 % across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to visit shop floors, attend trade fairs (Formnext, Rapid.Tech, EMO), and deepen relationships with both buyers and the supplier network that fulfils their orders.
- • Collaborate with marketing to localise case studies, whitepapers, and webinar content that resonate with DACH engineers and procurement teams, driving inbound pipeline and shortening sales cycles.
- • Maintain pristine data hygiene in HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring every touchpoint, quote revision, and escalation is logged for seamless handoffs and compliance audits.
- • Hit and exceed an annual revenue target of €3–€5 M while maintaining a gross-margin contribution of 30 %+ and an NPS of 70 or higher across your portfolio.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or SaaS selling to engineering or procurement stakeholders in the DACH region.
- • Native or near-native German and fluent English; comfortable presenting, negotiating, and drafting contracts in both languages.
- • Proven track record of closing complex deals ≥ €100k ARR or €250k one-off, with evidence of multi-stakeholder and multi-year contract negotiation.
- • Strong analytical mindset—can build ROI models in Excel, interpret tolerance stacks, and translate technical constraints into commercial value.
- • Nice-to-have: degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical field; existing network within German automotive, aerospace, or med-tech ecosystems.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly team summits in European tech hubs (Berlin, Munich, Lisbon) and an annual off-site in the U.S.
- • Competitive uncapped commission plan with accelerators beyond 100 % quota, plus equity in a Nasdaq-listed company (NASDAQ: XMTR).
- • €2,500 annual professional-development stipend for language courses, industry certifications, or attendance at leading trade fairs.
