📋 Description
- • The Account Manager, Employee Benefits manages an assigned book of business while developing long-term relationships with clients, responding to day-to-day inquiries, and providing client analytics.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include interfacing with vendors and clients, creating deliverables, preparing renewals and RFPs, analyzing proposals, setting priorities, managing workflow, and supporting team leads.
- • The role operates within One80 Intermediaries, a risk and insurance intermediary firm, supporting a team structure where the Account Manager assists Team Leaders and Account Executives with a smaller, less complex book of business.
- • The individual will develop expertise in employer-sponsored health and welfare benefits, gain experience in client relationship management, process improvement, and revenue growth through client expansion, while building knowledge of regulations, carrier products, and industry trends.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree preferred
- • 2–5+ years of health and welfare benefits experience
- • Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
- • Knowledge of benefits administration, Healthcare Reform, and carrier products and services
- • GBA or CEBS Certification a plus
