- • The Account Manager, Enterprise will be the primary point of contact for over half of Fivetran’s 100+ customers in Japan, directly influencing customer satisfaction, adoption, and ARR growth through retention, renewals, and expansion.
- • Day to day, the role involves owning customer relationships, running business reviews, driving adoption of Fivetran’s platform, managing the full contracting lifecycle, providing accurate forecasts, partnering cross-functionally, resolving escalations, capturing customer feedback, and creating advocate stories — all while maintaining high CSAT/NPS and predictable renewals.
- • Fivetran is scaling its Japan business with a small Tokyo office, an APJ hub, and a tight-knit GTM team; the company is committed to making data access as simple and reliable as electricity, with over $5.6B valuation and strong core values of Get Stuck In, Do the Right Thing, and One Team, One Dream.
- • The person will learn to navigate complex enterprise SaaS sales cycles, deepen technical fluency in data platforms, build executive-level relationships in Japanese and English, influence product strategy via customer insights, and grow into a trusted advisor role — all while contributing to Fivetran’s mission in a values-driven, collaborative, and globally diverse environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native Japanese speaker with strong professional English (daily business and executive communication)
- • 3+ years (preferably 4–7) of demonstrated success in SaaS Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise AE roles managing renewals, upsells and contracting
- • Strong project management skills — able to coordinate multi-stakeholder technical projects, migrations and onboarding programs end-to-end
- • Exceptional personal integrity and customer centricity — you build trust and act with transparency
- • Highly detail-oriented: excellent contract/review discipline, accurate forecasting, and clear documentation
- • Proven negotiation experience handling renewals, amendments and commercial conversations
