Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As an Account Manager at iwoca Limited, you serve as the primary point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Germany, acting as the voice of the company and driving customer success through personalized financial solutions. Your role is critical to iwoca’s mission of financing one million SMEs by building trust, guiding clients through the credit lifecycle, and ensuring optimal product utilization to support their business growth and cash flow needs.
- • You will manage your own portfolio of new and existing customers, guiding them through every stage of the loan process — from initial onboarding and contract finalization to ongoing relationship management and renewal. This includes conducting needs-based consultations, tailoring financing solutions to individual business contexts (e.g., salons, dental practices, retail), and proactively communicating product updates and eligibility criteria to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- • You will build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with clients by understanding their operational dynamics, risk profiles, and revenue drivers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who helps them achieve business goals through iwoca’s flexible financing offerings. Your empathetic, solution-oriented approach ensures customers feel supported and empowered throughout their financial journey.
- • You will actively contribute to iwoca’s continuous improvement by gathering and synthesizing customer feedback, identifying process optimization opportunities, and monitoring competitor offerings to inform product, service, and internal workflow enhancements — making you a key voice in shaping the company’s evolution.
- • You will collaborate across departments in a flat, agile organization, supporting cross-functional initiatives and leveraging your hands-on mindset to drive results. This role offers significant autonomy and impact, allowing you to grow into a senior advisory or leadership position within iwoca’s rapidly expanding European fintech ecosystem.
- • Through this role, you will develop deep expertise in SME finance, customer lifecycle management, and fintech product adoption — gaining transferable skills in consultative selling, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement that are highly valued across the financial services and tech industries.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed commercial apprenticeship or business-related degree with relevant experience in customer service, preferably in banking or fintech.
- • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to engage confidently in international team meetings and client interactions.
- • Strong customer-centric mindset, sales orientation, and hands-on mentality, combined with high motivation, organization, and reliability.
- • Ability to think beyond immediate tasks to propose improvements to products, systems, and processes based on customer feedback and market insights.
- • Proven teamwork skills and willingness to support cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
🏖️ Benefits
- • 26 vacation days per year plus public holidays and an extra birthday holiday.
- • Access to company-wide training programs with internal and external speakers, including a personal learning budget for books.
- • Eligibility for employee equity participation, a paid 1-month sabbatical after 4 years, and additional vacation days after 7 years of service.
- • Well-stocked office kitchens with healthy and indulgent snacks, plus access to Summer and Winter Houses in Europe for team retreats.
- • Direct access to certified psychologists via OpenUp, time for volunteering, and unlimited unpaid leave for travel or study.
