Account Manager - Ophthalmic Diagnostic Instruments

• • The Account Manager is responsible for generating new business sales and profits (P&L) in a specific territory, committing to an annual sales plan, writing objectives, and forecasting orders and revenue monthly.
• • Day-to-day duties include attaining or exceeding sales quotas by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities; developing and executing strategic territory and account plans; managing opportunity pipelines; providing accurate sales forecasts; adopting a 'hunter' mindset for new business while maintaining existing customer relationships; serving as a trusted partner to ophthalmologists and optometrists by providing clinical, technical, and product support; conducting product demonstrations, trials, and installations; delivering customer training; responding to inquiries; collaborating with Marketing on local initiatives; partnering across divisions; maintaining CRM records; completing administrative tasks like monthly reports and forecasts; and providing feedback on market trends and competitive activity.
