  • • As an Account Manager for Personal Lines at One80 Intermediaries, you will step into a pivotal role, serving as a dedicated and trusted advisor to a portfolio of Middle Market clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic and consultative guidance, delving into identified collaborative initiatives, conducting thorough assessments of potential risk profiles, and meticulously managing policy audits, proposals, and renewals. This position is crucial for fostering long-term client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive and expert service.
  • • You will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong, constructive relationships with our valued customers. This involves not only meeting but consistently exceeding their expectations through exceptional service and a deep understanding of their insurance needs. Your ability to anticipate client requirements and offer tailored solutions will be key to your success.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve actively servicing and retaining existing accounts. This requires a proactive approach to client management, ensuring that their current policies meet their evolving needs and that they feel valued and supported. Simultaneously, you will be tasked with identifying and developing new business opportunities within your client base, contributing directly to the company's growth.
  • • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date system records is paramount. You will meticulously document all service interactions, marketing efforts, and policy communications with both clients and carriers. This includes diligently updating electronic files and the Agency Management System (AMS) to ensure data integrity and facilitate efficient operations.
  • • You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting personal client meetings, typically at the annual renewal period or more frequently as needed, to maintain consistent client contact and strengthen relationships. These meetings are opportunities to review coverage, discuss any changes in their circumstances, and ensure they have the most appropriate insurance solutions.
  • • A core function of this role is to provide robust support to Producers. This involves assisting with proposals, managing suspense items, and diligently following up on various tasks to help clients and achieve the agency's overarching business goals. You will be expected to keep Producers fully apprised of client status, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • • You will be the first point of contact for client inquiries, service requests, and claims issues. Responding to these promptly and efficiently within established timelines is critical to maintaining client trust and satisfaction. Your ability to navigate and resolve client concerns effectively will be a hallmark of your performance.
  • • This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Personal Lines insurance products, including underwriting principles, coverage details, rate analysis, and experience reporting. You will leverage this knowledge to provide expert advice and solutions to clients.
  • • You will be expected to utilize insurance agency management systems proficiently, with a preference for experience in AMS360 and WorkSmart, to manage client data, policy information, and communication logs effectively.
  • • The successful candidate will possess a valid P&C brokers’ license, demonstrating a foundational understanding of insurance regulations and practices. Industry-specific designations such as CISR or ARM are highly preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development and specialized knowledge within the insurance sector.
  • • Ultimately, your impact will be measured by your ability to foster client loyalty, drive retention rates, contribute to new business acquisition, and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of your assigned client portfolio, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2-4 years of experience in Personal Lines client management.
  • • Valid P&C brokers’ license.
  • • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems (AMS360 and WorkSmart preferred).
  • • Knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis, and experience reporting.
