- ⢠The Account Manager role in Scotland is a strategic position focused on driving sales growth and expanding Axis Communications' market presence across the region by managing existing partner relationships and actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- ⢠This role is critical to Axisâs success in Scotland, combining 'hunting' for new partners and 'farming' to nurture and grow a portfolio of 10-15 strategic accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and revenue growth.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include strategically managing 10-15 key customer accounts, developing business plans, and conducting regular site surveys and partner visits across Scotland to build strong, trusted relationships.
- ⢠The Account Manager will proactively identify and onboard new partners and customers by leveraging industry networks and market insights to expand Axisâs reach in the security surveillance and remote monitoring solutions market.
- ⢠A core duty involves coaching partners on Axisâs end-to-end solutions, including video surveillance, access control, intercom, and audio systems, supported by intelligent analytics, to enhance their capabilities and commitment.
- ⢠The role includes supporting and leading partner training sessions and events to improve partner knowledge, skills, and alignment with Axisâs technology offerings and value proposition.
- ⢠Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and ensuring CRM complianceâspecifically in Salesforceâis essential for tracking opportunities, forecasting, and reporting on account performance.
- ⢠Significant time will be spent traveling across Scotland for customer meetings, with occasional quarterly trips to the UK office in Luton for sales meetings and team collaboration.
- ⢠The Account Manager will join a supportive and ambitious team focused on the Scottish market, working closely with Sales Engineers covering Northern England and Scotland, as well as the wider UK sales and marketing organization.
- ⢠This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in B2B account management within the security technology industry, refine strategic planning and execution skills, and grow a professional network across a diverse range of partners and end customers.
- ⢠Success in this role can lead to career progression within Axisâs global sales organization, with opportunities to take on larger territories, mentor junior team members, or move into regional or national leadership positions.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, with a demonstrated ability to both manage and grow key customer accounts while actively acquiring new business.
- ⢠Experience working with multi-stakeholder organizations, including the ability to navigate complex decision-making structures and influence various stakeholders.
- ⢠Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build and execute long-term territory and account plans aligned with business goals.
- ⢠Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, for pipeline management, forecasting, and maintaining accurate customer records.
- ⢠Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and partner engagement.
- ⢠Proactive mindset with strong prioritization and efficiency skills to manage a demanding travel schedule and competing priorities.
- ⢠A full UK driving license and willingness to travel frequently across Scotland, with occasional trips to the Luton office (quarterly for sales meetings).
- ⢠A background in IT or the security industry is beneficial, but candidates with strong B2B experience from other sectors will be considered.
