- • As an Account Manager (Suppliers) at Civic Marketplace Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the supplier ecosystem by building, managing, and growing strategic relationships with suppliers on the platform. Your work directly impacts supplier success, revenue retention, and marketplace liquidity, making you a critical driver of the company’s growth in the public procurement space.
- • Day to day, you will own supplier success and revenue retention by ensuring suppliers achieve clear ROI through pipeline generation and contract wins, while managing gross and net revenue retention (GRR/NRR) as key performance indicators. You will build and manage supplier relationships as the primary point of contact, developing trust-based partnerships with founders, sales leaders, and GTM teams, and guiding them on how to effectively position their offerings for public sector buyers. You will drive supplier performance on the platform by helping improve profiles, offerings, and responsiveness, advising on best practices for RFQs, shortlists, and cooperative contract positioning, and proactively identifying opportunities to increase visibility and win rates. You will lead strategic reviews and insights by conducting regular business reviews with suppliers to assess performance and growth opportunities, providing data-driven insights on buyer behavior, demand trends, and procurement patterns, and aligning supplier strategies with Civic Marketplace’s evolving product and marketplace dynamics. You will partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships teams to improve supplier experience, feed supplier insights into product development (e.g., onboarding, search, RFQ flows), and support go-to-market initiatives that drive supplier acquisition and engagement.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales with a proven track record of driving renewals, expansions, or revenue growth
- • Strong commercial instincts, including the ability to identify upsell opportunities and balance relationship-building with revenue ownership
- • Experience in B2B SaaS or marketplace businesses is a strong plus; bonus for experience in government, procurement, or working with vendors selling into the public sector
