  • As an Account Manager Team Lead for the French market at Perk.com Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the success and growth of our existing client base within France. This pivotal role demands a blend of strong leadership, strategic account management expertise, and a deep understanding of the travel and expense industry, all within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Account Managers, fostering an environment of high performance and continuous improvement. You will guide your team in retaining and expanding customer relationships, ensuring clients derive maximum value from Perk's intelligent platform for travel and spend management.
  • A key aspect of your role will involve the creation and meticulous execution of your team's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets. You will be accountable for monitoring team performance, identifying areas for development, and implementing strategies to achieve and exceed objectives.
  • You will play a crucial role in empowering your team to conduct strategic negotiations with existing clients. This involves equipping them with the necessary tools, insights, and support to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, thereby deepening client engagement and increasing revenue.
  • A significant part of your contribution will be in enhancing the materials and deliverables provided to Perk's customers. This includes refining existing resources and developing new ones that effectively communicate the value proposition of our platform and support client success.
  • You will actively contribute to the automation of Business As Usual (BAU) tasks within the account management function. By identifying repetitive processes and collaborating with relevant teams, you will help streamline operations, freeing up valuable time for your team to focus on strategic client engagement and growth.
  • A core leadership duty will be to set clear responsibilities for your team members, ensuring everyone understands their roles, expectations, and how their contributions align with the overall team and company goals.
  • You will coordinate closely with the implementation and sales teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. This cross-functional collaboration is vital for setting clients up for success from the outset.
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding and comprehensive training of new Account Managers joining your team. This includes developing training programs, mentoring new hires, and ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
  • The role requires a proactive approach to people management, focusing on developing individual talent, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • You will leverage your commercial acumen to identify opportunities for account growth and client retention, working closely with your team to develop and execute account plans.
  • Your ability to analyze client data, summarize key trends, and perform accurate forecasts will be essential for strategic decision-making and reporting.
  • You will be expected to maintain a high level of proficiency in using Salesforce for customer relationship management and performance tracking.
  • This role is based in Barcelona, and you will be expected to work from home most of the time with core hours, contributing to a flexible yet productive work environment.
