- • The Account Manager TX role is a strategic Growth and Retention position focused on driving new business development and long-term customer retention in the K–12 education space, directly supporting Cambium Learning Group’s mission to create opportunity for every student through literacy.
- • Day to day, the Account Manager will own and execute territory plans, conduct data-driven prospecting, manage complex sales cycles, lead pilot programs, prepare renewal and upsell proposals, maintain multi-stakeholder relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and travel up to 4-5 times annually to engage with district leaders and attend key events.

- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in K–12 education sales, master consultative selling techniques, build trusted advisor relationships with superintendents and curriculum leaders, and grow their ability to balance hunter and farmer mindsets while contributing to meaningful impact in literacy and educational outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- • Proven track record of 2-5+ years of success in both new business development and account management roles
- • Experience within the education technology or services space, literacy/reading products highly preferred
- • Excellent understanding of the K–12 education landscape, including funding, leadership structures, and instructional priorities
- • Proficient user of CRM (Salesforce), MS Office and Google Suites, video conferencing software and other technology-based productivity tools
- • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend key events (up to 4-5 times annually)
