- • As a Demand Response Account Manager for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, you will serve as the primary regional representative for CLEAResult’s utility client program, driving enrollment and long-term engagement of commercial and industrial customers in a new demand response initiative critical to grid resilience and energy efficiency.
- • You will build and manage a portfolio of medium- to large-sized C&I accounts, acting as the trusted on-site advisor who educates facility managers and business owners on demand response events, translates technical requirements into clear value propositions, and guides customers through enrollment and participation while overcoming barriers to adoption.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person customer visits across the region, developing tailored proposals based on load-reduction opportunities, verifying program compliance, troubleshooting technical or operational issues, and maintaining accurate records in program-approved systems to support forecasting and reporting.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering and program teams to assess technical requirements, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate participation metrics and program updates to the Program Manager, functioning as the autonomous field lead for the Avista DR program in your territory.
- • You will represent CLEAResult’s people-first culture by building authentic relationships within the Eastern Washington and Western Idaho business community, promoting energy efficiency and grid resiliency, and contributing to a sustainable future through direct customer engagement and program incubation efforts.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in demand response program delivery, technical sales in the energy efficiency sector, and regional B2B account management, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in utility programs while gaining hands-on experience in program launch, scaling, and customer success metrics tracking.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of relevant industry experience in energy programs, demand response, utility programs, C&I account management, or technical sales
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant certifications may substitute for experience)
- • Familiarity with commercial/industrial operations, facilities, or energy use patterns
- • Strong B2B sales ability rooted in authentic relationship-building and excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- • Ability to translate technical requirements into simple, relatable explanations and troubleshoot technical and operational issues
- • Comfort with autonomous work, owning responsibilities as the primary regional program resource, and willingness to travel across a geographically large territory
