- • As a Business Development Manager at PerkinElmer, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within a defined territory, directly contributing to the company’s mission of innovating for a healthier world through scientific solutions.
- • You will be responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas by prospecting, developing business, responding to RFPs, crafting proposals, and coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver tailored analytical solutions to commercial, government, academic, and healthcare customers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and client research, developing localized market/product strategies, identifying target accounts for outbound campaigns, creating business proposals and presentations, implementing strategies to consolidate business activities and improve client satisfaction, engaging channel partners in SFDC usage for pipeline visibility, and collaborating with internal teams on pre- and post-sales activities such as meeting coordination, delivery tracking, and issue escalation.
- • You will work closely with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development teams to align resources and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives, while also extending local channel partner networks to increase market coverage and visibility.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the analytical industry with a proven track record of growing sales strategies
- • Experience managing channel partners and related business processes
- • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage high-level management and customers
- • Advanced MS Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills to derive insights from market data
- • Ability to travel extensively on short notice and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed environment
