  • • As a Cash and Census Resource at Pinnacle Senior Living, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational accuracy of our senior living communities. This remote position is crucial for maintaining precise revenue records, managing resident census data, and facilitating seamless billing processes, all while upholding our CAPLICO Core Values: Customer Second (Employee First!), Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Celebration, and Ownership.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be the exact recording of all revenue transactions. This involves adhering strictly to established policies, as well as local, state, and federal guidelines, ensuring compliance and minimizing financial discrepancies. You will be the guardian of our financial data, making certain that every transaction is accounted for accurately and efficiently.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be maintaining accurate daily census records. This includes meticulously tracking resident units, the number of residents within the community, and those admitted, discharged, or transferred. You will follow community procedures precisely for these movements, ensuring that our census data is always up-to-date and reflects the current occupancy status.
  • • You will be the central point of contact for providing essential census information to designated vendors and providers. This data is critical for their billing purposes, and your accuracy directly impacts their ability to serve our residents effectively and ensures timely reimbursements.
  • • In the realm of accounts receivable, you will be responsible for the proper application and reconciliation of all electronic and manual deposits. This includes entering all cash receipts into the PCC system and promptly notifying the community of any significant over- or underpayments, allowing for swift resolution.
  • • You will meticulously save all cash documents according to established procedures, maintaining a well-organized and accessible record of all financial activities. Furthermore, you will regularly review and update the Daily Cash Log, performing crucial reconciliations between the PCC Cash Receipts Journal and the Daily Cash Log to guarantee accuracy.
  • • Your duties extend to managing electronic payment authorizations. You will enter all new ACH and Credit Card authorizations into Wells Fargo CyberSource, ensuring that all recurring transactions are reviewed and updated each month to prevent service interruptions and maintain continuous revenue flow.
  • • You will also be responsible for entering ancillary charge batches, ensuring that all additional services provided to residents are accurately captured and billed.
  • • Processing refunds and write-offs will be another important function, requiring careful attention to detail and adherence to company policies to manage these financial adjustments appropriately.
  • • Generating and distributing monthly statements to the community is a vital task that ensures transparency and provides residents and their families with clear financial information.
  • • You will perform the PCC Month End Close process, a critical financial closing procedure, and upload all necessary documents to the Month End Close Application, contributing to the timely and accurate financial reporting of the organization.
  • • To foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, you will be expected to assist and cover for other staff members when necessary. This ensures high productivity and efficiency within the department, demonstrating your commitment to the team's overall success.
  • • This role requires you to develop and maintain a good rapport with Business Office staff and other interrelated departments, promoting effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
  • • You will work in a remote environment, requiring self-discipline and strong organizational skills to manage your workload effectively. While working remotely, you will be subject to frequent interruptions, necessitating adaptability and the ability to maintain focus.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • • You must be capable of and comfortable learning and using new computer operating systems, word processing software, spreadsheets, and e-mail, showcasing your technical aptitude and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
