📋 Description

• • The Account Representative role at Sonoco Products Company is a critical sales position focused on driving growth in Poly and Water-based coated board solutions for folding carton, corrugated, and related markets within the Midwest region. This role directly contributes to Sonoco’s mission of delivering innovative packaging solutions while upholding its legacy of ‘People Build Businesses’ through strategic customer engagement and market expansion.
• • Day to day, the Account Representative will manage territory sales activities including developing and executing account strategies, maintaining multi-level customer relationships, conducting discovery to uncover customer needs, monitoring market and competitive intelligence, managing pricing and forecasting using CRM systems, and collaborating with internal teams such as Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver customer-driven solutions. Significant regional travel (approximately 3 nights per week) is required to maintain in-person customer engagement across Chicago, Indiana, and Ohio.
