📋 Description
- • Generate, terminate, review, and send invoices for Ancillary services and Payments and Platform Services Revenue in a timely and accurate manner.
- • Ensure strict adherence to billing schedules and deadlines for all revenue streams.
- • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies promptly to maintain financial accuracy and client trust.
- • Maintain comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end payment processing transaction lifecycle, including system architecture, execution, reconciliation, and error handling.
- • Prepare revenue bills for payments terminal activity and account for inventory related to point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
- • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and resolve reconciling items within established timelines.
- • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for payment processing procedures and accounting workflows.
- • Execute month-end close tasks including preparation of accurate and timely journal entries.
- • Assist external auditors during interim and annual audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support related to revenue recognition practices and financial transactions.
- • Support audit compliance efforts by preparing and organizing required financial records and controls.
- • Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills to manage financial data, reports, and reconciliations.
- • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless financial operations.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- • Adapt to evolving processes and systems as the company scales and introduces new payment and software solutions.
- • Maintain a process-oriented mindset to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in accounting workflows.
- • Operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with frequent changes to systems, policies, and revenue streams.
- • Perform accounting duties for both U.S. and Canadian payment operations with attention to regional compliance and reporting nuances.
- • Attend periodic in-person meetings at corporate offices in Atlanta or Auburn with advance notice provided for travel requirements.
