📋 Description

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with precision to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Fully own accounts payable and procurement operations, including vendor management, invoice processing, and final payment execution.
• Maintain audit readiness by assisting with financial statement audits and ensuring comprehensive documentation of financial systems and controls.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of accounting workflows.
• Actively support the documentation, design, and daily adherence to internal controls to maintain a SOX-ready reporting posture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance/Data, Telco, and Product teams, as well as external vendors, to resolve workflow bottlenecks and align financial operations.
• Master the hygiene and optimization of complex financial datasets, designing automated validation frameworks to scrub unstructured sub-ledgers and rectify missing inputs.
• Establish and maintain a high-fidelity, definitive source of truth for financial data through systematic data integrity practices.
• Operate within a fast-paced, high-growth telecom environment with evolving priorities and tight deadlines.
• Apply foundational accounting principles including general ledger management, accruals, and close optimization in daily operations.
• Utilize financial software systems including QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Ramp for transaction processing and financial control.
• Maintain exceptional precision in data entry, reconciliation, and documentation to prevent discrepancies from impacting financial statements.
• Anticipate friction in transaction workflows and proactively build scalable, simplified solutions rather than managing manual processes.
• Communicate financial requirements and bottlenecks clearly to non-finance stakeholders including Telco and Product teams.
• Balance long-term process optimization projects with recurring close deadlines without compromising quality or timeliness.
• Adapt comfortably to shifting priorities in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment backed by top-tier investors.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience within a Big 4 accounting firm, consulting, or a fast-paced tech/SaaS environment.
• Strong core systems knowledge with hands-on experience using Ramp and proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth, dynamic environments while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of independently identifying inefficiencies and driving process optimization without direct supervision.
• Meticulous organizational skills with a history of owning large projects end-to-end alongside daily operational workflows.
• Practical understanding of internal controls, risk mitigation, and documentation required for SOX-ready reporting.
