- • Lead the full-cycle accounting engine for a high-growth life-science innovator. You will own Accounts Payable, Payroll, Employee Expense, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting for Rapid Micro Biosystems, ensuring every dollar is captured, classified, and reported with precision.
- • Build, coach, and inspire a team of accounting professionals. From day-to-day mentoring to long-term succession planning, you will shape talent that can scale with the company’s global footprint.
- • Drive a lightning-fast, audit-ready close. You will own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close calendars, orchestrating reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analyses that are both accurate and insightful.
- • Safeguard the integrity of our financial story. You will design, document, and monitor internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring SOX-level discipline without slowing the business down.
- • Be the go-to partner for cross-functional leaders. Whether it’s explaining variances to Operations, modeling head-count costs for HR, or translating technical accounting to non-finance executives, your communication will turn numbers into decisions.
- • Champion continuous improvement. You will evaluate every workflow, automate repetitive tasks, and lead system-upgrade projects (SAP, Concur, UKG) that free the team for higher-value analysis.
- • Own global payroll compliance. You will oversee multi-state U.S. payroll and act as the escalation point for our international offices in Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore, ensuring statutory deadlines and equity taxation are flawlessly managed.
- • Serve as a key player in external audits and tax engagements. You will prepare PBC schedules, liaise with auditors, and implement recommendations that strengthen our control environment.
- • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Your historical analyses and forward-looking insights will directly influence resource allocation and investor communications.
- • Cultivate a culture of curiosity and growth. You will design training curricula for new hires, lunch-and-learns for the broader Finance team, and career-path frameworks that keep top talent engaged.
