- • The Accounts Payable Specialist III role at Modivcare Inc. is critical to maintaining the integrity of financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records. This position supports the company’s mission of delivering healthcare transportation and home-based care services by enabling smooth financial workflows that keep vendors paid and operations running efficiently.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include entering and batch-processing invoices, identifying and resolving transaction errors, processing vendor payments via check, EFT, and credit card, reconciling payments with statements, managing vendor master data (including W-9s and EFT details), handling COMDATA inbox inquiries, and supporting 1099 audit and filing processes. The role also involves collaborating with operations and claims administration teams to resolve payment-related issues and participating in special projects as assigned.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end accounts payable processes, gain experience with enterprise accounting systems (including Workday preferred), strengthen your vendor management and reconciliation skills, and develop proficiency in financial controls and audit readiness—positioning you for advancement into senior finance or accounting specialist roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma required
- • Two (2) plus years of previous work experience in accounts payable or similar finance role
- • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- • Experience with accounting controls
- • Workday experience preferred
