- • Ignite the next generation of AI innovators as an Adjunct Faculty member in Computer Information Systems (Artificial Intelligence) at Strayer University. You will teach one or more fully online undergraduate courses beginning January 5th for the Winter quarter, delivering a pre-designed curriculum while infusing it with your own real-world insights from the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
- • Serve as both instructor and mentor, guiding adult learners who are balancing careers, families, and education. Your role extends beyond lectures—you will coach students through hands-on AI projects, foster critical thinking about ethical AI use, and help them connect classroom concepts to immediate workplace applications.
- • Leverage Strayer’s state-of-the-art online learning platform to create an engaging, multimedia-rich environment. You will integrate interactive videos, discussion boards, virtual labs, and AI sandbox tools so students can experiment with machine-learning models, natural-language processing, and data-driven decision-making in a safe, supportive setting.
- • Maintain a visible, responsive presence. You will hold weekly virtual office hours via Zoom, respond to emails and texts within 24 hours, and provide timely, personalized feedback on assignments. Your goal is to ensure every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to succeed.
- • Uphold rigorous academic standards by clearly communicating grading rubrics, setting high expectations, and aligning assessments with industry-validated competencies. You will regularly analyze course data to identify at-risk students and deploy early-intervention strategies that improve retention and completion rates.
- • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary faculty community. You will attend virtual faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum enhancement discussions, and participate in professional-development workshops that keep your own AI expertise sharp and classroom practices innovative.
- • Model professional excellence and ethical behavior. You will adhere to all university policies, maintain FERPA-compliant records, and demonstrate the leadership behaviors championed by Strategic Education, Inc.—integrity, student-centricity, adaptability, and continuous learning.

🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Technology, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- • Minimum of five years of recent, hands-on professional experience in Computer Technology, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems
- • Demonstrated recent professional experience specifically in Artificial Intelligence (machine learning, NLP, computer vision, or related AI domains)
- • Prior college-level teaching experience and/or online teaching experience strongly preferred
- • Master’s degree, certification, or advanced credential in Artificial Intelligence highly preferred
- • Professional certification in a relevant AI or IT discipline (e.g., AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional ML Engineer) is a plus
