- • The Adjunct - School Counseling Program role at University of the Cumberlands supports the academic mission of the School of Education by delivering instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development within the School Counseling Program.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include teaching courses, providing academic advising and student support, engaging in service activities within P-12 settings, civic organizations, and church involvement, and participating in scholarship and professional activities such as publishing, presenting, and attending conferences.
- • The University of the Cumberlands is a faith-based institution focused on intellectual and spiritual growth, leadership, and service, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- • In this role, the adjunct faculty member can deepen their expertise in school counseling, contribute to student success through mentorship and advising, engage in scholarly work, and strengthen their professional network through conference participation and community service.
🎯 Requirements
- • Terminal degree in Leadership with an emphasis in Education or a related field.
- • Certification in School Counseling.
- • Holds Individual Intellectual Assessment Endorsement.
- • Previous experience in School Counseling.
- • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with demonstrated collaboration skills.
