- • Join Health Advocate, a leading organization dedicated to simplifying healthcare complexities and enhancing member well-being, as an Affiliate Relations Associate. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission by building, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of our vital affiliate behavioral health network. You will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards of care delivery by meticulously managing the recruitment, credentialing, and ongoing relationship management of licensed behavioral health professionals across assigned regions.
- • As an Affiliate Relations Associate, your primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity and responsiveness of our affiliate network. This involves a disciplined approach to recruitment, rigorous verification processes, accurate documentation, and fostering professional relationships. You will be instrumental in identifying and onboarding qualified counselors and behavioral health professionals, ensuring they meet our stringent criteria and are ready to provide exceptional care to our members.
- • Success in this role is measured by your ability to achieve and maintain optimal network coverage and recruitment targets. This includes proactively identifying regional gaps in service availability and escalating these needs to the appropriate leadership. You will leverage a variety of sourcing channels to efficiently recruit licensed professionals, ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. A key aspect of your role will be to meticulously document all screening activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support the onboarding process.
- • A critical component of your mission is to uphold the highest standards of compliance and credential integrity. You will be responsible for verifying the licenses and certifications of all affiliate providers through appropriate state databases, confirming they are in good standing before they begin providing services. Ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate prior to onboarding is paramount. You will maintain organized and up-to-date records within our shared drives and internal systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of the network.
- • Furthermore, you will be a guardian of process accuracy and documentation discipline. This involves conducting structured phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and discuss compensation structures. You will diligently record screening results, confirm availability, and document agreement acceptance in our databases. Accurate and timely uploading of affiliate professional information is essential. Adherence to all corporate and departmental policies and procedures, particularly those related to Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), is expected.
- • Your day-to-day activities will encompass a range of responsibilities designed to support the affiliate network. This includes actively recruiting affiliate counselors and behavioral health professionals for specific departments and regions, conducting thorough phone interviews, and utilizing external resources to identify potential candidates. You will communicate effectively with candidates to confirm availability and coordinate schedules, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
- • In the realm of credential verification and compliance, you will perform detailed checks of licenses and certifications, ensuring all requirements are met. You will meticulously record approved affiliates into our database and maintain all necessary documentation in departmental shared drives. Your role also involves serving as a key point of contact for affiliate counselors, responding to their inquiries regarding scheduling, compensation, and processes, and escalating any issues or concerns to management as needed.
- • You will also contribute to the broader team by providing administrative support to ensure a balanced workflow and staying informed about industry initiatives within the EAP sector. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is vital. You will collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the affiliate experience. Escalating issues beyond your scope of authority to your supervisor in a timely manner is also a key responsibility.
- • We are looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven, and relationship-aware professional who understands the importance of documentation accuracy and disciplined follow-through. Your ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and timeliness, coupled with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, will be essential for success in this role. If you are energized by structured processes, compliance excellence, and building strong professional networks, we encourage you to apply and help us strengthen the foundation of care at Health Advocate.
