- • The Affiliate Services Licensing Specialist, Regulatory Affairs (NORAM) role at Stripe is critical to ensuring the company’s licensed US and Canadian entities remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements, particularly in the fast-growing digital assets space. This position supports Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet by enabling secure, lawful expansion of its financial infrastructure platform across North America.
- • Day to day, the specialist will coordinate regulatory license applications and renewals, manage responses to state inquiries and examinations, maintain surety bonds and filings, monitor regulatory changes impacting digital assets, and partner with Legal, Finance, Financial Crimes, Product, and Security teams to ensure end-to-end compliance. They will also support special projects and maintain relationships with external regulators, licensing consultants, and counsel.
- • The North America Regulatory Affairs team operates at the intersection of finance and technology, safeguarding Stripe’s ability to innovate within regulated environments. As a key cross-functional partner, the role offers exposure to senior leadership, diverse business lines, and the internal governance of a global financial infrastructure leader navigating complex state and federal oversight.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in financial services regulation, particularly around money transmission, BSA, NMLS, and digital asset licensing. They will develop advanced skills in regulatory exam management, cross-functional stakeholder coordination, and AI-assisted workflow automation—positioning them for growth in regulatory affairs, fintech compliance, or financial services leadership within a high-impact, innovative company.
