- • As an Agency Development Manager at Orchid Insurance, an Arrowhead Intermediaries company, you will be instrumental in expanding our agency distribution channel. Your primary mission will be to drive qualified quote submissions, significantly increase written premium, and foster robust growth in policies in force. This role is perfectly suited for a proactive, self-starting individual who excels at building strong, meaningful connections, devising creative solutions to challenges, and providing unwavering support to ensure the success of our agency partners.
- • You will act as a crucial, trusted advisor to our network of agency partners. This involves delivering comprehensive training, offering strategic guidance, and providing essential support across our various systems, diverse product lines, and underwriting guidelines. Your expertise will empower our agents to effectively represent Orchid Insurance and serve their clients.
- • A key responsibility will be identifying and cultivating new agency opportunities through diligent prospecting and outreach. You will be the front-line representative, engaging with potential partners to showcase the value and benefits of collaborating with Orchid Insurance.
- • You will be responsible for generating new premium growth by actively interacting with both new and existing agencies. This engagement will encompass a variety of communication methods, including phone calls, emails, and most importantly, face-to-face visits, fostering a personal and professional connection.
- • Delivering ongoing training and support to both new and established agencies is paramount. You will ensure that all partners have a clear and thorough understanding of our systems, product offerings, and underwriting protocols, enabling them to operate efficiently and effectively.

- • A significant aspect of this role involves meeting and consistently exceeding individual and team goals related to premium growth, policy count, and agency engagement. Your performance will directly contribute to the company's overall success.
- • This is a remote position, but it requires frequent travel within the assigned territory for in-person agency visits. You will be expected to manage your travel schedule effectively to maximize engagement and support.
- • You will professionally represent Orchid Insurance at industry trade shows, conferences, and during all in-person agency visits, embodying the company's values and commitment to excellence.
- • You will be expected to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader team's objectives.
