  • The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the UK media agency ecosystem and demonstrable experience in collaborating with and influencing international agency teams, particularly those managing pan-European or global campaigns.
  • While based at our vibrant London HQ at The River Building, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel within Europe and the Middle East (Paris, Milan, Dubai) as needed to nurture and strengthen agency and client relationships.
  • You will be tasked with pitching Deliveroo Ads' unique media solutions to agency teams who manage significant advertising spend for major CPG and Non-Endemic advertisers, showcasing the platform's ability to drive measurable results.
  • Meticulous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and clear, concise reporting are essential to track progress, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal Deliveroo teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and the continuous improvement of our advertising offerings.
  • You will be involved in the negotiation of deals and the finalization of contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by actively tracking market trends, understanding evolving agency structures, and monitoring competitor activity across the European and Middle Eastern advertising landscapes.
  • Contribute actively to the overall commercial strategy of Deliveroo Ads, ensuring alignment and cohesive execution across all regions and markets.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in media agency sales, with a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with key UK media agencies, including planners, buyers, and senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering and exceeding revenue targets across multiple markets or regions.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of international advertising markets, including their unique dynamics and opportunities.
  • Experience selling multi-market or regional advertising campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Europe & Middle East media landscapes is a significant advantage.
  • Prior experience working with CPG advertisers and understanding their specific needs and challenges is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with global agency groups (e.g., WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG) and their structures is a plus.
