📋 Description

• As an AI Agent Developer – Business Platforms at Progressive Leasing, you will play a pivotal role in transforming internal operations by designing and deploying intelligent AI agents that solve real business challenges across finance, customer service, and enterprise systems. Your work will directly enable faster, smarter decision-making and process automation, supporting the company’s mission to innovate and simplify lease-to-own solutions for millions of customers.
• You will own the full lifecycle of AI agent development — from interpreting business use cases on a whiteboard to building, testing, deploying, and maintaining production-ready agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related technologies. This includes crafting conversational flows, integrating with CRMs and ITSM tools like ServiceNow, leveraging Microsoft Graph and custom APIs, and ensuring secure, reliable access to organizational data through authentication frameworks such as OAuth and managed identities.
• You will partner closely with AI Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate priorities into working solutions, while documenting architectures and data flows for security, compliance, and long-term maintainability. Your contributions will help scale AI adoption across the organization, reducing manual effort and improving responsiveness in key business functions.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise AI integration, mastering the intersection of low-code platforms and pro-code extensibility within the Microsoft ecosystem. You’ll gain hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, enterprise authentication patterns, and API-driven automation — positioning you at the forefront of applied AI in business operations. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence the evolution of AI agent standards and practices within a growing, mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year focused on AI agent development, conversational AI, or intelligent automation
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building, configuring, and deploying custom agents, including conversation design, topic authoring, and action integration
• Power Platform development experience across Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse, including low-code flows and custom connector development
• Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise systems via APIs, connectors, and webhooks — including CRMs, ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), and internal data sources
• Understanding of Microsoft Graph API and how to use it to enable agents to access organizational data and M365 services
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns for enterprise integrations, including OAuth, service accounts, and managed identities
• Basic to intermediate scripting ability in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for pro-code extensions and custom connector logic
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM configuration — including system prompts, grounding strategies, and fallback behaviors — with hands-on exposure to ChatGPT or Claude valued in addition to Microsoft Copilot
• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
