- • As an AI Agents Solutions Architect within Kraken’s People team, you will design and deploy production-grade AI-powered workflows that transform manual HR processes into autonomous, agentic systems serving thousands of global employees. This role sits at the critical intersection of advanced AI engineering and HR operations, where you will build multi-agent systems using n8n, Claude API, Python, and MCP to integrate HRIS, ATS, payroll, and ticketing platforms into coherent, compliant, and auditable workflows with human oversight.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting agentic workflows that take real actions in HR processes with appropriate approval gates, building error handling and audit trails for regulated data, classifying automation builds by risk tier before deployment, maintaining documentation for compliance, training HRKX teams on deployed tools, tracking automation impact (manual hours saved, error reduction), and serving as the HRKX domain representative in cross-functional governance discussions to ensure alignment and adoption.
- • You will join a mission-driven, fully remote team of Krakenites spanning 70+ countries and 50+ languages, united by a shared commitment to accelerating global crypto adoption and financial inclusion. - • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise HR technology automation, gain hands-on experience governing AI systems in regulated people data environments, and become a trusted advisor on AI-enabled HR transformation. You will leave a lasting impact by enabling HR professionals to shift from administrative tasks to high-value strategic work, directly contributing to Kraken’s ability to scale its people function securely and efficiently across global jurisdictions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years focused on building AI/ML-powered applications or agentic systems in production.
- • 2–3+ years of experience working on HR, People Operations, or people technology problems—either at an HR tech company, on an internal People Engineering team, or in a technical role embedded within an HR function.
- • Deep working knowledge of Workday, including job change workflows, worker conversions, EIB data uploads, integration architecture, and payroll dependencies.
- • Proficiency with AI tooling stack: n8n, Python, Claude API/Anthropic SDK, or equivalent, with demonstrated experience connecting HR systems via API.
- • Strong understanding of employee data classification, PII handling requirements, and cross-jurisdictional HR compliance obligations.
- • Systems thinker with a strong implementation mindset — able to move from discovery → design → build → deployment → optimization without relying on external consultants.
