- • As an AI Architect at Tenex.AI, you will be a key technical leader responsible for defining the architecture, design, and execution of scalable, high-performance AI systems that power the company’s AI-native Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform, directly contributing to enhanced cybersecurity posture for clients through advanced threat detection and automated response.
- • You will set technical strategy and vision for systems handling petabytes of security data and billions of daily events, design and build the AI layer including large-scale LLMs, graph-based reasoning engines, and streaming feature pipelines, and own evaluation, reliability, and operational excellence in production environments.
- • Tenex.AI is a fast-growing, well-funded AI-native cybersecurity startup backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Crosspoint Capital, and Shield Capital, with a mission to revolutionize MDR through automation and AI; you’ll join as an early employee to help shape culture and technology from the ground up.
- • In this role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Detection Engineering, and Customer Success teams, mentor senior engineers on cloud architecture and security-first practices, and drive innovation in retrieval-augmented generation, tool-calling agents, and multi-modal models to maintain a competitive edge in cybersecurity AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with significant experience in a dedicated Software Architect or Principal Engineering role.
- • Deep technical expertise in designing scalable, distributed, production-grade systems using modern languages (Python, Go, Rust, Java, TypeScript), including microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), event-driven systems, and API design (REST/gRPC).
- • Extensive experience with cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and large-scale data processing, analytics, and high-volume transaction systems.
- • Deep knowledge of LLM architecture, prompt engineering, vector databases, and hands-on experience building AI agents, orchestration frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, Agno AGI), and evaluation harnesses in security-focused environments.
- • Proven ability to mentor, inspire, and grow senior technical talent, with exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills to articulate technical vision to executives and stakeholders.
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
