📋 Description

• • Architect, build, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions that transform how CareSource serves its 2 million+ members across Ohio. You will own the full lifecycle—from ideation and data ingestion to model deployment and continuous monitoring—ensuring every algorithm directly improves health outcomes and operational efficiency.
• • Lead the design of a next-generation Generative AI platform that leverages large language models (LLaMA, OpenAI), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to power semantic search, intelligent chatbots, and real-time decision support for care managers and providers.
• • Rapidly prototype proof-of-concept applications using Python, LangChain, Streamlit, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to validate new ideas in days, not months. Present findings to executive leadership and convert the most promising pilots into production-grade systems.
• • Establish and scale MLOps pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP that automate model training, testing, deployment, and rollback. Integrate Docker and Kubernetes for containerized microservices, and apply AIOps to detect anomalies, predict failures, and self-heal production workloads.
• • Partner with data scientists, clinicians, product owners, and compliance teams to embed ethical, interpretable AI into existing claims, authorization, and member-engagement platforms. Translate complex model outputs into actionable insights that non-technical stakeholders can trust and act upon.
• • Continuously preprocess and analyze massive healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, social determinants) to uncover patterns in cost, quality, and access. Fine-tune deep-learning models for tasks such as readmission risk prediction, fraud detection, and personalized care-plan generation.
• • Champion a culture of innovation by hosting internal hackathons, lunch-and-learns, and code reviews that showcase emerging techniques in Knowledge Graphs, embeddings, and responsible AI. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to CareSource’s open-source repositories.
• • Monitor model drift, performance, and fairness in production; schedule automated retraining jobs and champion ethical AI practices that comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and state regulations. Document every workflow, API, and decision trail to ensure auditability and knowledge continuity.
• • Leverage AI-assisted development tools—GitHub Copilot, internal code generators—to boost engineering velocity while maintaining rigorous code quality and security standards enforced by CI/CD gates.
• • Provide transparent, data-driven progress updates to stakeholders through dashboards and concise narratives. Highlight key milestones, technical risks, and mitigation strategies that keep multi-million-dollar initiatives on schedule and within budget.
