AI Developer Experience Engineer

📋 Description

• • As an AI Developer Experience Engineer at Polygon Labs, you will be the second member of the AI Foundation team, working directly with a staff-level engineer to design, build, and deploy AI tooling and infrastructure that accelerates productivity and AI adoption across the entire organization. This role exists to meet the growing demand for AI implementation that exceeds the capacity of a single engineer, ensuring critical work continues without slowdown.
• • You will own meaningful systems from day one, including designing an organization-wide AI tooling onboarding system that auto-configures and recommends tools, workflows, and skill paths based on individual roles to reduce time-to-productivity. You will also develop and maintain infrastructure for automatic deployment and configuration of AI tooling, build custom internal applications around AI agents and tooling, implement an AI usage dashboard for leadership visibility, and evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools like coding assistants and LLM orchestration frameworks.

You will gain hands-on experience shaping organizational AI strategy, improving cross-functional productivity, and setting standards for AI-assisted engineering workflows using tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
