- • Embed directly with enterprise customers to map procurement, finance, legal, and risk workflows at the process level, identifying where decisions break down and high-ROI problems exist.
- • Build and deploy custom AI agent solutions using Zip’s AppStudio and AI infrastructure, tailored to each customer’s unique environment and data — never off-the-shelf.
- • Own end-to-end accountability for a small portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, managing parallel workstreams from scoping through delivery with full ownership of outcomes.
- • Surface the next high-value problem to solve before customers can articulate it, leveraging commercial instinct to identify opportunities that expand contract value.
- • Produce detailed architecture documentation capturing what was built, why it was designed that way, and how it could be generalized for other accounts.
- • Feed structured learnings and product insights back to Zip’s product and engineering teams to improve platform repeatability and scalability across customers.
- • Conduct on-site work at customer locations when required, running live testing sessions and stakeholder workshops using real data and real workflows.
- • Operate at the intersection of enterprise procurement complexity and AI technology, translating operational pain points into functional AI-driven solutions.
- • Earn trust quickly with enterprise stakeholders such as AP Directors, CPOs, and CFOs by demonstrating deep domain knowledge in procurement or finance operations.
- • Build integrations, read API documentation, and diagnose workflow failures independently without relying on engineering support.
- • Maintain high stakeholder trust by consistently delivering solutions that solve the customer’s highest-priority problems and drive measurable outcomes.
- • Work in a fast-paced environment where success is measured by customer impact, not just deployment activity — expanding scope within accounts based on proven value.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure solutions align with platform evolution and customer needs.
- • Represent Zip professionally in client-facing settings, including on-site visits, demos, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- • Translate ambiguous enterprise workflows into clear technical requirements and executable AI agent configurations using Zip’s tooling.
- • Maintain a mission-driven mindset focused on accelerating innovation for enterprises through AI-powered procurement transformation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years working inside enterprise procurement, finance operations, or a related function in an operating role: Finance Systems, Procurement, Finance, etc. You have owned a finance process or technical stream end-to-end, not just advised on one.
- • Direct experience building AI agents or automated workflows for your own work using Zip's AppStudio, Claude, N8N, Make, Zapier, or similar — you can show something live and running.
- • A track record of owning complex customer engagements independently, from scoping through delivery, with accountability for outcomes rather than just outputs.
- • Enough technical fluency to build integrations, read API documentation, and diagnose workflow failures without needing an engineer on call.
- • Enough procurement or finance domain knowledge to earn credibility quickly with an AP Director, CPO, or CFO.
- • Formal credentials (CPP, CPSM, CPA, or equivalent) are a plus, not a requirement.
