- • Embed directly within strategic enterprise accounts to uncover hidden operational inefficiencies in procurement, finance, legal, and risk workflows by observing how work actually flows and where decisions break down.
- • Build and deploy custom AI agent solutions using Zip’s AppStudio and AI infrastructure, tailored specifically to each customer’s environment, data, and workflows — never off-the-shelf.
- • Own end-to-end accountability for a small portfolio of enterprise accounts, managing parallel workstreams from initial scoping through delivery and expansion of scope based on demonstrated value.
- • Identify and surface the next high-ROI problem worth solving before the customer can articulate it, leveraging commercial instinct to expand contract value through proactive problem identification.
- • Produce detailed architecture documentation that captures what was built, why it was designed that way, and what would be required to generalize the solution across other accounts.
- • Feed structured, actionable learnings back to product and engineering teams to improve platform repeatability, scalability, and future feature development.
- • Represent Zip on-site at customer locations when required, conducting live testing, stakeholder sessions, and demonstrations using real data and real workflows.
- • Work at the intersection of enterprise complexity and AI deployment, translating ambiguous operational pain points into concrete, working solutions without waiting for engineering support.
- • Earn trust quickly with enterprise stakeholders such as AP Directors, CPOs, and CFOs by demonstrating deep domain knowledge in procurement or finance operations.
- • Maintain high levels of stakeholder trust through consistent delivery, transparent communication, and accountability for outcomes — not just outputs.
- • Operate independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of customer relationships and technical execution without relying on others to build or integrate solutions.
- • Use technical fluency to build integrations, interpret API documentation, and diagnose workflow failures without requiring engineer intervention.
- • Leverage prior experience building automated workflows or AI agents for personal or professional use, with demonstrable live examples from tools like Zip’s AppStudio, Claude, N8N, Make, or Zapier.
- • Drive measurable outcomes by ensuring the customer’s highest-priority problems are solved, which directly determines access to future opportunities within the account.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years working inside enterprise procurement, finance operations, or a related function in an operating role, having owned a finance process or technical stream end-to-end
- • Direct experience building AI agents or automated workflows for your own work using tools such as Zip’s AppStudio, Claude, N8N, Make, Zapier, or similar
- • A track record of owning complex customer engagements independently from scoping through delivery, with accountability for outcomes rather than just outputs
- • Technical fluency to build integrations, read API documentation, and diagnose workflow failures without needing an engineer on call
- • Procurement or finance domain knowledge sufficient to earn credibility quickly with enterprise stakeholders such as AP Directors, CPOs, or CFOs
- • Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and translate operational insights into platform improvements
