Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of production-grade ML models that serve millions of users daily across music, video and social media verticals. You will architect, train, validate and deploy models that understand cultural trends in real time, ensuring sub-second latency and 99.9 % uptime.
- • Design and build scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines capable of ingesting, transforming and serving petabyte-scale media datasets. Your systems will power recommendation, generation and optimization engines that directly influence how billions of minutes of content are consumed worldwide.
- • Implement state-of-the-art inference systems for content optimization, including multimodal AI that fuses audio, video and text signals. You will fine-tune large transformer, diffusion and retrieval models, then containerize and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for elastic scaling across AWS/GCP.
- • Establish MLOps best practices: automated CI/CD for model training, versioning with DVC/MLflow, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana and rollback strategies. Your guardrails will guarantee reproducibility, compliance and cost-efficiency while enabling daily experimentation.
- • Translate cutting-edge research from our data science team into robust production services. You will refactor notebooks into modular micro-services, expose REST/gRPC APIs and integrate them seamlessly into the existing content platform used by creators and consumers.
- • Optimize model performance for both accuracy and cost. You will profile GPU/CPU utilization, leverage quantization, distillation and batching techniques, and negotiate spot-instance pricing to cut inference costs by double-digit percentages without degrading user experience.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design and content teams to identify new ML opportunities. Your prototypes will move from whiteboard to A/B test within days, directly shaping roadmap decisions and unlocking new revenue streams.
- • Champion a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing. You will conduct code reviews, write internal documentation and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the team stays at the forefront of AI innovation in media and entertainment.
- • Work fully remotely with flexible hours, while joining quarterly global offsites in cities like Tokyo, Miami or Lisbon to strategize, hack and celebrate wins together. Your contributions will be visible in every release note and board presentation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on ML engineering experience building and deploying production systems at Big Tech, high-growth startups or media/entertainment companies
- • Expert-level proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- • Proven track record with MLOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring and automated rollback
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical field
- • Demonstrated ability to architect scalable ML infrastructure handling large-scale media data with low-latency requirements
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary plus meaningful equity, making you an owner from day one
- • Fully remote work with flexible hours and quarterly global team offsites in exciting destinations
- • Flat hierarchy where every idea is heard, implemented and credited; direct impact on product and strategy
- • Access to cutting-edge compute resources, research budgets and collaboration with world-class advisors from Spotify, Blackstone and KKR
