đź“‹ Description
- • As the AI Operations Lead at Rain Technologies, Inc., you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and accelerating growth by bridging the gap between complex business challenges and innovative technological solutions.
- • This pivotal role involves a hands-on approach to identifying operational bottlenecks, meticulously prioritizing opportunities, and architecting and deploying automations, AI agents, and sophisticated workflows.
- • Your primary objective will be to eliminate manual work, significantly increase leverage across all departments, and foster a culture of intelligent automation.
- • Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations, you will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Go-To-Market (GTM), Customer Experience (CX), and Product, gaining a deep understanding of their unique operational landscapes.
- • You will be responsible for mapping inefficiencies, developing practical, working solutions, and championing their adoption throughout the organization.
- • A critical aspect of this role is the development of robust documentation, standardized processes, and foundational AI primitives that will form the bedrock of Rain's internal AI capabilities.
- • Your contributions will not only accelerate immediate team performance but also establish enduring infrastructure and institutional knowledge that will yield compounding benefits over time.
- • Key responsibilities include proactively auditing workflows across various teams to pinpoint the most impactful automation and AI opportunities, translating intricate business pain points into a clearly defined and prioritized roadmap with demonstrable Return on Investment (ROI).
- • You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered automations, intelligent agents, and dynamic workflows, leveraging a hybrid approach that combines custom code with no-code/low-code tools.
- • This role demands end-to-end ownership of solutions, from initial prototyping and development through to successful production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- • A significant focus will be placed on driving user adoption by partnering closely with internal stakeholders, conducting comprehensive enablement sessions, creating clear and accessible documentation, and cultivating internal champions who will sustain the long-term impact of implemented solutions.
- • Effective stakeholder management is crucial, requiring clear and consistent communication of progress, potential tradeoffs, and achieved results to both team members and leadership.
- • You will be adept at managing expectations, proactively surfacing potential risks, and ensuring alignment across a diverse set of competing priorities.
- • Establishing operational rigor involves defining precise success metrics for every initiative, building intuitive dashboards to meticulously track performance, measure adoption rates, and unequivocally demonstrate business impact.
- • Continuous iteration based on data-driven insights and user feedback will be a cornerstone of your approach.
- • Furthermore, you will play a key role in building Rain's internal AI foundations by developing essential core primitives.
- • This includes creating comprehensive documentation, curated prompt libraries, standardized operating procedures (SOPs), robust integration patterns, and effective governance frameworks.
- • These elements are vital for enabling Rain to build and deploy AI agents and tools in a reliable, consistent, and scalable manner.
- • The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical fluency, ideally with a Computer Science background, and is comfortable working with code, APIs, data structures, SQL, and scripting languages.
- • While not necessarily a full-time software engineer, you must be capable of reading, writing, and testing code, augmented by the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- • You are an AI native, actively utilizing AI tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Cursor in your daily work, and possess hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, mastering prompt engineering, and developing agentic workflows.
- • You are a hands-on builder, capable of taking an ambiguous problem, defining its scope, and delivering a functional solution independently, without reliance on a dedicated engineering team.
- • Proficiency with no-code platforms and the ability to write custom code when necessary are essential.
- • As an analytical problem-solver, you will leverage data to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, and rigorously measure outcomes.
- • Exceptional communication skills are required, enabling you to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and accurately convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- • You excel at producing concise documentation and facilitating highly effective meetings.
- • You are a natural systems builder, adept at creating clarity from complexity by writing SOPs, developing templates, defining standards, and structuring knowledge to empower both human colleagues and AI agents.
- • You recognize that high-quality documentation serves as critical infrastructure rather than an optional overhead.
- • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating at high speed within a fast-paced startup environment, where priorities can shift rapidly and require agile problem-solving.
- • You exhibit high agency, proactively taking initiative rather than waiting for explicit direction.
- • The role requires 3-6 years of experience in a combination of product management, business operations, technical program management, forward-deployed/solutions engineering, consulting, or similar roles where you have demonstrated success in both identifying challenges and architecting technical solutions.
