- • Join Motorola Solutions, a global leader dedicated to enhancing safety and security through innovative technology, and become a pivotal member of our Missions & Insights team. This team is at the forefront of developing platforms that power real-time public safety operations, with a significant emphasis on AI-driven solutions and automation. We are committed to continuously optimizing our operational pipelines to ensure our mission-critical technology is delivered and maintained with unparalleled speed, stability, and scale.
- • As an AI Ops Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in identifying and automating key operational processes, creating the essential "Gems" that streamline our entire AI development, testing, and deployment lifecycle. Your role is crucial in ensuring our backend systems are as resilient and efficient as the first responders they support, embodying our commitment to "Solving for safer" through operational excellence.
- • This position is designed for a highly organized and technically astute individual who possesses a proven track record of implementing formal AI automation workflows. You will not merely document existing processes; you will be the driving force and catalyst that seamlessly transitions AI projects from the development phase through to successful production deployment.
- • You will act as a critical bridge, connecting the realms of AI development, IT operations, and diverse business stakeholders. By leveraging data analysis and meticulous process mapping, you will pinpoint opportunities for automation, effectively acting as a force multiplier for our dedicated engineering teams.
- • Your primary objective will be to reduce manual toil and repetitive tasks through the strategic implementation of formal automation. This will empower our highly skilled experts to dedicate more of their valuable time to uniquely human-centric work, such as innovation, critical thinking, and empathetic problem-solving, ultimately contributing to safer communities, schools, and businesses worldwide.
- • Key responsibilities will include conducting in-depth analysis of current AI/ML operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas ripe for automation. You will translate these findings into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for automation solutions.
- • You will collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and IT operations teams to design, develop, and implement robust automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- • A significant part of your role will involve defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) metrics to measure the impact of automation initiatives, demonstrating tangible improvements in efficiency, speed, and reliability.
- • You will be responsible for managing internal product backlogs related to AI operations automation using tools like Jira, prioritizing tasks based on business value and technical feasibility.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for automated processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability.
- • You will also play a role in evaluating the technical feasibility of proposed automation solutions, working alongside engineering teams to understand the implications of scripting logic and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- • Understanding and applying MLOps principles will be essential to optimize model retraining, data governance, and overall lifecycle management of AI models in production.
- • Your ability to build analytical narratives will be crucial in translating complex technical processes and automation benefits into clear, compelling language that resonates with business stakeholders, fostering buy-in and support for automation initiatives.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying inefficiencies before they become critical issues and developing repeatable, scalable solutions.
- • You will be expected to maintain exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple internal backlogs and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- • Ultimately, you will be a key enabler of operational excellence within our AI initiatives, directly contributing to Motorola Solutions' mission of building a safer future.
