- • Design and execute Ramp’s AI partnerships strategy by identifying, structuring, and closing high-impact collaborations with AI-native companies, including product integrations, platform partnerships, and co-development opportunities.
- • Serve as Ramp’s primary external representative in strategic conversations with AI labs, startups, and technology firms, building and maintaining trusted relationships that drive commercial and product outcomes.
- • Partner closely with Ramp’s product, engineering, and design teams to translate AI ecosystem trends into actionable product roadmap priorities and integration opportunities that enhance customer value.
- • Leverage deep knowledge of the AI landscape—including competitive dynamics, emerging models, and technical integration challenges—to uncover differentiation opportunities that align with Ramp’s financial infrastructure mission.
- • Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, legal, and go-to-market teams to rapidly move partnerships from concept to launch, ensuring speed and execution excellence in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
- • Evaluate partnership opportunities through a strategic, analytical lens to prioritize initiatives that deliver near-term customer benefits and long-term competitive advantage.
- • Influence AI-native companies by creating meaningful value through partnerships, demonstrating understanding of their product priorities, technical constraints, and business incentives.
- • Maintain a sharp, current point of view on the evolving AI ecosystem, translating market developments into actionable partnership strategies that support Ramp’s growth and customer outcomes.
- • Ensure all partnerships are grounded in real customer needs, connecting technical collaborations to tangible improvements in how businesses automate spend, categorize transactions, and manage financial workflows.
- • Represent Ramp in high-stakes negotiations where credibility, judgment, and technical fluency are as critical as contractual terms, acting as a trusted intermediary between Ramp and AI partners.
- • Actively expand Ramp’s network within the AI community by engaging with founders, product leads, and decision-makers at leading AI-native firms to identify new collaboration pathways.
- • Contribute to shaping Ramp’s AI product investment decisions by providing market intelligence from direct interactions with AI companies and evaluating potential technical integrations.
- • Own end-to-end execution of partnership initiatives, from initial outreach and negotiation through integration, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring measurable impact on Ramp’s platform and customer success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Known and trusted in the AI ecosystem with deep, active relationships across AI-native companies, labs, and founders
- • Real technical fluency in how foundation models work, how products are built on top of them, and how technical integrations between companies are structured
- • Proven track record of closing and executing complex partnerships, shipping AI products, or making principal investments in AI companies
- • Strong product intuition and ability to connect partnership opportunities to customer problems and product experiences
- • Exceptional strategic and analytical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and structure win-win partnership outcomes
- • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and business teams
