AI Solutions Engineer (Agency Operations)

📋 Description

• • Lead the development and scaling of AI agents across Nexus Marketing’s operations, transforming existing Google Gemini Gems into robust, production-ready tools for cross-functional teams.
• • Partner directly with subject matter experts in copywriting, account management, design, video, and partnerships to map workflows and co-design AI solutions that enhance speed and quality of deliverables.
• • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents and tooling that are secure, scalable, and reliable for use by non-technical team members across multiple departments.
• • Coach and upskill non-technical staff to confidently adopt, use, and troubleshoot AI tools, ensuring widespread and effective adoption beyond individual experimentation.
• • Make deliberate engineering decisions around security, scalability, cost, and reliability, clearly communicating trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• • Document all AI tools, workflows, and best practices to ensure maintainability, knowledge transfer, and organizational scalability.
• • Collaborate with leadership to shape and eventually own the AI roadmap, aligning technical development with business priorities and operational needs.
• • Stay current with advancements in the AI landscape and proactively introduce new capabilities, tools, and methodologies that improve team efficiency and outcomes.
• • Work within a structured daily schedule aligned with US Eastern business hours: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT) and 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT), with a 6-hour midday break.
• • Ensure all AI solutions are tested, monitored, and iterated upon based on real-world usage feedback from non-technical users across the organization.
• • Maintain a strong focus on ethical and secure AI deployment, avoiding prompt-and-accept approaches in favor of engineered, auditable, and repeatable systems.
• • Contribute to a mission-driven culture by enabling software and tools that support nonprofits, trade associations, and other organizations creating positive social impact.
• • Adapt quickly to evolving processes, systems, and priorities in a small, fast-growing company where decisions can be implemented rapidly.
• • Drive adoption of AI tools by demonstrating value, providing ongoing support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all teams.
• • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with US- and Philippines-based product, tech, and design teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of AI solutions.
• • Actively participate in shaping company culture by embracing the principle of “disagree and commit,” contributing to innovation, and rejecting the status quo in pursuit of excellence.
