- • As an AI Staff Developer Advocate at MongoDB, you will help promote MongoDB's artificial intelligence capabilities and empower developers to integrate advanced data and AI into their applications, directly contributing to the growth of MongoDB's ecosystem in the AI era.
- • Day to day, you will engage with the developer community, build strategic partnerships with AI companies, create technical content such as tutorials and videos, speak at conferences and workshops, collaborate with product teams to provide developer feedback, and support community programs like user groups and influencer initiatives.
- • You will join a global Developer Relations team that is mostly remote, with this role based in the San Francisco Bay Area under a hybrid model, working alongside skilled advocates to shape MongoDB's presence in the AI and developer landscape.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in MongoDB's AI features like vector search and Voyage AI, expand your influence as a technical educator and community leader, and grow your impact by shaping how developers adopt AI-powered data solutions worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expertise in building AI or ML solutions, including comfort with building agentic solutions
- • Advanced familiarity with several AI coding and workflow tools, and understanding of how platforms are recommended through content, preference, and integration
- • Expertise with one or more complementary programming languages, with Python or JavaScript preferred
- • Knowledgeable and well-connected in the Bay Area AI ecosystem
- • Prolific author of technical content such as tutorials, how-to guides, and readmes, accompanied by associated code
- • Established portfolio or active contribution to AI examples and Agent Skills on GitHub
- • Engaging presenter at in-person events, videos, webinars, or live streams
- • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time within the Bay Area for engagements and up to 10% of time outside the Bay Area for industry events
