  • • As an Alliances Manager, Resale at Optro Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s go-to-market strategy through reseller partnerships, directly contributing to revenue growth and market expansion in commercial and SLED segments.
  • • Day to day, you will manage end-to-end resale workflows, act as a subject matter expert for the sales team on partner engagement, drive joint business planning with technology and advisory partners, coordinate enablement efforts with Partner Services and Marketing teams, and serve as the primary executive liaison for assigned partner organizations.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in channel sales, partner ecosystem strategy, and enterprise SaaS go-to-market motions, while building strategic relationships that influence both Optro’s growth trajectory and the success of its alliance network.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in channel or resale partnerships, particularly with VARs such as Guidepoint, Optiv, SHI, CDW, or Carahsoft.
  • • Experience selling into State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets and leveraging partners to drive efficient, compliant deals.
  • • Familiarity with InfoSec, GRC, or third-party risk technologies and the ability to position solutions to CISOs and security stakeholders.
  • • Strong working knowledge of reseller buying processes, deal economics, margin calculations, and SaaS-based channel models (hardware/on-premise experience alone is insufficient).
  • • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams internally and externally, navigate matrix environments, and build consensus to advance partner-driven opportunities.
  • • Excellent networking, business development, and communication skills, with the urgency and grit to move deals forward in complex sales cycles.
