  • • Are you a seasoned Amazon Marketplace expert with a passion for driving growth and optimizing online sales? Scale Army is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Amazon Marketplace Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in scaling a portfolio of high-potential eCommerce brands. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central to manage day-to-day operations and execute impactful strategies across multiple brands and international marketplaces.
  • • Our client is at the forefront of acquiring promising eCommerce brands that have demonstrated product-market fit and early traction. Their mission is to accelerate the growth of these brands by injecting strong financial resources, operational expertise, and a structured growth playbook. This playbook focuses on three core pillars: robust funding for product development and inventory, strategic expansion into new sales channels (including Direct-to-Consumer, marketplaces, retail, and wholesale) and international markets, and the scalable development and launch of new products. The portfolio spans diverse and growing categories such as baby and toddler sleep, parenting gear, health and wellness, and home and garden, all positioned for sustained, long-term growth.
  • • In this newly created Senior Amazon Marketplace Specialist role, you will be instrumental in managing the operational intricacies and driving high-impact projects within Amazon Seller Central. Your primary objective will be to oversee and optimize the company’s presence on Amazon across key markets, including the US and Canada, with a clear mandate to boost sales, enhance product visibility, and elevate overall marketplace performance. You will be a key player in the eCommerce Sales function, reporting directly to the Director of Digital Sales. Your collaborative spirit will be essential as you work closely with customer service, email marketing, social media, influencer and affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and graphic design teams to ensure our Amazon marketplaces are not only fully operational but also meticulously optimized for maximum traffic and conversion.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of product management and sales optimization on Amazon:
  • • **Product Launches:** You will be responsible for the seamless creation of new ASINs, ensuring they are set up with the correct templates, categories, and sub-categories. This includes coordinating with our talented Visual & Graphic Design Team to source and upload compelling images and videos that capture customer attention. Furthermore, you will partner closely with the Logistics team to establish initial FBA inbound shipments and manage the setup, submission, tracking, and reporting of Vine Reviews to generate early product validation and social proof.
  • • **Product Listing Optimization:** Maintaining accurate, engaging, and keyword-rich product listings is crucial. You will continuously optimize titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to improve search visibility and drive higher conversion rates. A key part of this role involves implementing and refining best practices for enhanced brand content, A+ content, storefront optimization, and geographical expansion improvements to create a superior customer experience.
  • • **Sales and Revenue Growth:** You will develop and execute data-driven strategies aimed at significantly increasing sales and revenue across the Amazon platform. This involves diligently monitoring and analyzing sales performance to pinpoint emerging growth opportunities. You will also implement strategic pricing adjustments and promotional campaigns designed to maximize profitability and market share.
  • • **Performance Monitoring and Analysis:** A critical aspect of this role is the meticulous tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, traffic, conversion rates, and customer reviews. You will delve into the data to identify actionable trends and areas requiring improvement, providing regular, insightful performance reports and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • • **Compliance and Policy Management:** Staying abreast of Amazon's ever-evolving policies, guidelines, and terms of service is paramount. You will ensure strict compliance with all listing, pricing, and advertising requirements, proactively addressing any compliance issues and implementing necessary corrective actions to maintain account health.
  • • **Competitive Analysis and Market Research:** You will actively monitor competitor activities and emerging market trends to identify both opportunities and potential threats. Utilizing these insights, you will inform and refine our Amazon strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Success in this role hinges on effective collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with marketing, sales, operations, and customer service teams, ensuring that Amazon strategies are tightly aligned with broader business objectives. Regular communication will be key to ensuring seamless coordination on all marketplace initiatives.
  • • **Continuous Improvement and Innovation:** We encourage a proactive and innovative approach. You will identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization, experiment with new strategies, tools, and technologies, and share valuable learnings and best practices across the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • • **Additional Responsibilities:** Beyond core Amazon management, you will have the opportunity to support the setup, optimization, and management of Walmart Marketplace, and potentially take ownership of future marketplace expansions. You will also contribute to international growth initiatives across various Amazon marketplaces and gain proficiency in utilizing the ERP system, Fulfil.io.
  • • This is a fully remote position, requiring availability during U.S. business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST) to effectively support our U.S.-based clients. Candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe are encouraged to apply.
