- • This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated individual seeking to lead initiatives within our Conservation Chapter and Division, driving impactful change.
- • You will be instrumental in connecting analytical processes and knowledge with the practical work of TNC Brazil, fostering strong relationships with Indigenous Peoples, traditional riverine communities, extractivists, quilombolas, and fisherfolk.
- • Reporting to the "Community-Based Conservation Supervisor" and collaborating closely with the leadership of the Collective Territories Hub for Brazilian Amazonia, you will leverage your expertise to support the development and implementation of Territorial and Environmental Management Plans (PGTAs) across the Brazilian Amazon.

- • You will also contribute to strengthening and implementing national, regional, and local socio-biodiversity initiatives, forming part of a dedicated team focused on promoting the National Policy for the Management of Indigenous Lands (PNGATI) at regional and national levels.
- • Collaboration with data science, public and unallocated lands conservation, governance, public policy, and financial mechanism teams will be a key aspect of your role.
- • As an Analista de Conservação III, you will be responsible for the development, management, and execution of conservation programs and plans within small to medium-scale geographic areas, providing technical leadership and support to business units.
- • This includes planning and implementing management and preservation programs that address critical threats to natural systems and/or individual species, as well as fostering knowledge exchange among diverse conservation community locations.
- • You will provide strategic local or landscape-level insights relevant to planning processes and develop conservation strategies utilizing protection tools across various legal land interest levels.
- • Furthermore, you will coordinate strategies to ensure public and private support for TNC's priorities, lead community engagement efforts, ensure the maintenance of public-accessible preservation areas, and oversee multiple projects, defining deadlines and supervising their execution.
- • The role demands constant interaction with local communities and partners, supporting community engagement and strengthening conservation governance.
- • You are expected to actively promote TNC's Code of Conduct, demonstrating consistent alignment with organizational values both internally and externally.
- • Building and maintaining trusting relationships with local stakeholders and leading or participating in local coordination efforts are crucial.
- • You will develop and coordinate project execution budgets, lead fundraising efforts, and negotiate and contract suppliers.
- • Ensuring program compliance with internal policies and external requirements is a key responsibility.
- • You will coordinate Service Provision contracts and Technical Cooperation Agreements with institutional partners.
- • Support Municipal Governments in the elaboration and development of municipal environmental Programs/Projects.
- • Assist in collecting field information, analyzing data, and co-orienting students from partner educational and research institutions to generate knowledge from our actions and projects.
- • Organize and execute training sessions and workshops for technicians and other target audiences as needed.
- • Make autonomous decisions based on analysis, experience, and context.
- • Be prepared for work in adverse weather conditions, remote locations, difficult or hazardous terrain, requiring intense physical effort and resilience.
- • Deliver products and reports within established deadlines.
- • Represent TNC in meetings, forums, and other instances.
- • Travel availability is essential for this role.
- • You will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of PGTAs in the Brazilian Amazon, advocating for the conservation of water and fishing resources, and promoting native vegetation recovery in collective territories.
- • You will articulate and mobilize governments and communities in the development of public policies such as Payments for Environmental and Territorial Services.
- • Strengthen and implement national, regional, and local socio-biodiversity initiatives, contributing to the promotion of PNGATI at regional and national levels.

- • Articulate cooperation between TNC's diverse strategies with Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities and partner institutions (civil society, government, and private sector), particularly in the Middle Xingu and Oiapoque regions, but not limited to these.
- • Facilitate and support learning and knowledge-sharing strategies around transformative practices related to gender among TNC partners.
