Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the entire customer acquisition lifecycle—from first handshake to signed multi-year master service agreement—while guiding a cross-functional pursuit squad that spans engineering, finance, supply-chain, and operations.
- • Build and continuously refresh a data-rich pipeline of Fortune 1000 and high-growth scale-ups whose product roadmaps align with Flex’s design, manufacturing, and after-market service capabilities; maintain a 3× coverage ratio against quarterly bookings targets.
- • Translate each prospect’s strategic objectives into a differentiated Flex value proposition that quantifies cost-of-ownership reduction, speed-to-market acceleration, and sustainability impact; present to C-suite and board-level decision makers with polished financial models and risk-mitigation narratives.
- • Orchestrate virtual and on-site executive workshops that map customer pain points to Flex’s end-to-end solution stack—concept development, industrial design, DFM/DFX, global manufacturing, supply-chain orchestration, reverse logistics, and circular-economy programs—securing technical and commercial buy-in.
- • Negotiate complex, multi-site, multi-currency master agreements that balance customer flexibility with Flex margin and cash-flow objectives; partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations to structure pricing, liability, IP, and volume-rebate clauses.
- • Act as the single point of accountability for account profitability once the deal is won, ensuring smooth transition to program management while retaining strategic relationship ownership for future expansion and upsell.
- • Mentor a geographically distributed business-development team of directors and managers; institute rigorous deal-stage gates, weekly forecast cadence, and win-loss retrospectives that lift win rate by double digits year-over-year.
- • Champion Flex’s culture of inclusion and continuous improvement by recruiting diverse talent, sponsoring high-potential employees, and embedding sustainability and ethical-sourcing criteria into every customer engagement.
- • Synthesize market intelligence—competitive moves, technology inflections, regulatory shifts—into actionable insights for Flex’s long-range strategic plan and M&A scouting efforts.
- • Represent Flex at tier-1 industry conferences, investor days, and university incubators, elevating brand equity and feeding the top of funnel with warm, high-value prospects.
- • Leverage CRM and BI dashboards to provide transparent, real-time visibility to bookings, margin, and customer-satisfaction KPIs for executive leadership and board reporting.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business; MBA or relevant master’s strongly preferred.
- • 10+ years of enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management in EMS, CMO, or advanced engineering services environments.
- • Demonstrated track record of closing multi-million-dollar, multi-year agreements with global OEMs or high-growth technology companies.
- • Expert command of strategic selling methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, MEDDICC) and financial fluency—ability to dissect P&L, balance sheets, and ROI models to craft value-based proposals.
- • Proven ability to influence and present to C-suite and board-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- • Experience leading distributed teams across geographies and cultures; adept at navigating complex matrix organizations.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for you and eligible dependents.
- • Life insurance plus short- and long-term disability coverage at no cost to employee.
