- • As a remote-based Application Specialist for Sartorius AG, you will be at the forefront of empowering our clients in the biopharmaceutical industry to achieve groundbreaking scientific and therapeutic advancements. Your primary mission will be to serve as a trusted expert, providing unparalleled product knowledge and deep application insights for our cutting-edge Bioreactor Technology products, with a special focus on the innovative Ambr portfolio. You will be instrumental in guiding customers through every stage of their journey, from initial product selection and implementation to successful qualification and ongoing utilization, ensuring their success and fostering strong, lasting partnerships.
- • You will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales initiatives by expertly positioning our technologies through compelling product presentations, engaging demonstrations, and insightful trial evaluations. Your ability to articulate the value proposition of our solutions will be crucial in securing new business and expanding our market reach within the dynamic life sciences sector.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve direct customer engagement, where you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique application requirements and challenges. This includes conducting thorough User Requirement Specification (URS) analyses, providing expert technical responses to inquiries, and leading customer evaluations to ensure our products are optimally aligned with their specific needs. You will work strategically with assigned Account Managers to develop and execute value-adding activities that address both customer objectives and Sartorius' business goals.
- • Proactive technical support is a cornerstone of this position. You will be responsible for anticipating and addressing customer needs, swiftly responding to inquiries, and efficiently resolving any implementation issues that arise in the field. Your expertise will ensure minimal disruption and maximum productivity for our clients.
- • You will be a key contributor to the successful launch of new products by actively participating in beta site testing, providing feedback to product development teams, and supporting early customer adoption through demonstrations and discussions. Your insights will be invaluable in refining our offerings and ensuring market readiness.
- • Collaboration with our Quality Department is essential. You will assist in the quality complaint process by conducting in-depth troubleshooting and analysis of customer processes, contributing to thorough investigations and effective resolutions, thereby upholding Sartorius' commitment to excellence.
- • A critical responsibility will be the comprehensive training of customers on our new technologies and providing hands-on support during initial start-up operations. Your guidance will empower users to leverage our products to their fullest potential from day one.

- • Developing and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships with key accounts within your sales territory is paramount. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be a significant factor in customer retention and satisfaction.

- • As a required interface with product, project, and division management, you will demonstrate a willingness and ability to interact effectively at various levels, from sales and technical teams to end-users, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across the organization.
- • This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote, field-based environment, covering the NJ/PA/DE/MD/VA areas. While remote, significant travel (up to 50% at times) will be necessary to meet customer demands, with potential for occasional international travel.
- • You will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure all responsibilities are met with precision and efficiency.
- • The ability to lift 35+ pounds is a requirement for this role, reflecting the hands-on nature of supporting equipment and demonstrations.

- • This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary between $100k - $110k, plus a bonus structure commensurate with experience and qualifications, reflecting the value and expertise you bring to the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in biological/life sciences and/or engineering.
- • 2+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically within Upstream Bioprocess development and/or MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology).
- • Demonstrated product and application expertise in bioreactors and supporting technologies, including multi-parallel bioreactors (Ambr), stir tank bioreactor platforms, and hands-on experience with key upstream processing (USP) applications such as bioreactor scale-up and scale-down.
- • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively in a dynamic environment.
