- • As an Applied AI Engineering Intern at GE Aerospace, you will build expertise in cloud platforms, databases, data engineering, web design, AI technologies, and numerical methods to solve real-world engineering problems, contributing to the future of aerospace design.
- • Day to day, you will develop technical solutions for engineers to evaluate and adopt data and AI solutions, consult on architecture, implement proof of concepts, build and present product architectures, write technical code, demo applications to stakeholders, and work to ship solutions to production that meet business needs.
- • You will join a culture of innovation, diversity, and deep collaboration at GE Aerospace, where engineers rely on software developers to bridge data, tools, and cutting-edge technologies like cloud and AI, unlocking new possibilities and advancing the future of flight.
- • Through hands-on projects using the Innovator Method, Game Theory, and DecisionIQ, you will turn customer insights into impactful solutions, sharpen your skills in AI and data systems, gain mentorship from experienced engineers, and bring real business value while learning to support team members and build cross-functional relationships.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled at a university in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program
- • Eligible to work in Germany; this position is a student role under German payroll
- • Strong academic performance in Computer Science or other STEM disciplines
- • Experience designing AI solutions and architecting distributed data systems
- • Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, C#, C++, and SQL
- • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision
- • Experience building solutions using public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
