  • • Administer and maintain the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to ensure seamless integration with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain workflows.
  • • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the PLM system to enforce data security and compliance with internal policies.
  • • Collaborate with engineering teams to configure PLM workflows, bill of materials (BOM) structures, and change order processes.
  • • Troubleshoot system errors, performance issues, and data inconsistencies in collaboration with IT and engineering stakeholders.
  • • Support the migration, upgrade, and patching of PLM software versions with minimal disruption to ongoing product development cycles.
  • • Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal knowledge sharing.
  • • Serve as the primary point of contact for PLM system inquiries from global engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams.
  • • Coordinate with vendors and third-party support teams to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
  • • Ensure data integrity across PLM modules by validating imports, exports, and synchronization with ERP and CAD systems.
  • • Participate in cross-functional project teams to align PLM capabilities with new product development timelines and requirements.
  • • Conduct regular audits of PLM data to identify and correct discrepancies in part numbers, revisions, and approval statuses.
  • • Train new users and provide ongoing support to ensure adoption and compliance with PLM best practices across departments.
  • • Monitor system usage metrics and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce manual workarounds, and enhance user experience.
  • • Maintain version control of all PLM-related documentation and ensure alignment with ISO and internal quality management standards.
  • • Assist in the development of automation scripts or integrations to streamline repetitive PLM tasks and reduce manual data entry.
  • • Stay current with PLM industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies to advise on future system capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proficiency in a major PLM system such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or Siemens NX
  • • Experience with BOM management, change control processes, and product data synchronization
  • • Strong understanding of engineering workflows and product development lifecycles
  • • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work collaboratively with engineering and IT teams
  • • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
