- • As an Applied Forward Deployed Engineer at Monte Carlo Data, you will own the technical success of customers from the moment a deal closes through full deployment, adoption, and value realization—ensuring they are not just live but actively using Monte Carlo to drive measurable business outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will lead onboarding and deployment on Snowflake, Databricks, and adjacent stack components; write production-quality Python and SQL code for custom integrations and automations; diagnose and resolve deployment issues; drive consumption by helping customers expand usage across teams and use cases; serve as a trusted technical advisor; and feed real-world insights back to Product and Engineering to shape the platform.
- • You will join a fast-growing, well-funded data observability leader backed by top-tier investors, working in a remote-first environment with close collaboration across Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams—no silos, no handoff culture, and direct impact on shaping the post-sale technical playbook as an early hire.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data stacks, strengthen your ability to blend technical execution with customer outcomes, and grow into a trusted advisor who shapes how enterprises operationalize data reliability—while influencing product direction from the front lines of deployment and adoption.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience building, designing, and debugging on Snowflake, Databricks, or modern cloud data warehouse environments—not just as an end user.
- • Comfort writing production-quality Python and SQL, and working with REST APIs to create custom integrations, automations, and SDK implementations in customer environments.
- • Proven experience owning technical relationships with enterprise customers, including running workshops with data engineers and delivering executive-level status updates.
- • Demonstrated success in a post-sale technical role (e.g., implementation, solutions consulting, technical onboarding) where you were accountable for driving customer consumption and adoption—not just deployment.
- • Familiarity with data quality, pipeline monitoring, or incident response in data environments is a strong plus.
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, economics, business analytics, or a related field (equivalent practical experience valued over formal education).
