- • Assist the Area Retention Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating sales activities for an assigned AAM Pod to maximize sales volume and drive targeted profitable growth.
- • Provide individualized sales coaching and training to sales professionals, including shadowing field staff and reviewing inbound call recordings to improve performance.
- • Supervise a team of sales professionals, including participation in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- • Ensure effective implementation of company pricing initiatives and monitor adherence to budgeted pricing metrics across the pod.
- • Manage and approve weekly timesheets and PTO requests in alignment with company policy.
- • Administer attendance policies and oversee all employee leave approvals.
- • Prepare and review Performance Improvement Plans and disciplinary documentation in collaboration with the Area Retention Manager.
- • Oversee daily customer onboarding tasks, case management, credit approvals, and quote reviews.
- • Deliver training on "Customer Zeal" with a focus on achieving First Call Resolution within the pod environment.
- • Prioritize customer retention through quality customer calls, escalation case resolution, and collaboration with BU Ops Teams.
- • Ensure sales team effectively utilizes the Company’s CRM tool to build comprehensive customer profiles and support new customer acquisition.
- • Maintain accountability for achieving assigned sales goals and key performance metrics tied to revenue and budget targets.
- • Monitor market behavior and competitive trends in designated regions to anticipate customer needs and proactively adjust retention strategies.
- • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company services, pricing structures, and waste stream management offerings to upsell additional services to commercial and industrial clients.
- • Complete all required sales reports accurately and on time.
- • Assist the Area Retention Manager in reviewing Customer Service Agreements for accuracy in terms, conditions, and pricing.
- • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support operational and sales objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or GED
- • Two or more years of progressive experience in a sales role, including training, mentoring, coaching, setting standards, or acting as a resource for others
- • Valid driver’s license
